A quiet day for the Gibraltar lads playing over in the UK with Scott Wiseman and Reece Stych the only players getting some action in the opening day of the English football season. Wiseman came on as an injury time sub as Scunthorpe recorded an opening day of the League 1 season with a win against Bristol Rovers, winning 3-1. Fellow Gibraltar international Jake Gosling was not named in the squad for Bristol Rovers.
