Despite a low scoring week in the Gibraltar Premier Division, key goals were scored which could have implications later on in the season. The biggest scoreline was Europa’s 1-0 win over Lincoln Red Imps with a later free kick from none other than former Imp Liam Walker struck from some way out to deceive Raul Navas in the Lincoln goal.

Lynx came minutes away from claiming their first win of the season but a later equaliser from Nathan Santos for Lions Gibraltar cancelled out Raul Segura’s penalty for Lynx against his former club. Segura’s former club St Joseph’s triumphed 1-0 against Gibraltar United thanks to a goal from Jose Luis Romero which came after Gib United’s Brad Power saw red early on.
In the other game, Mons Calpe and Glacis Utd drew 0-0 but after a subsequent review from the Gibraltar Football Association, the result was overturned an Glacis awarded the 3 points after Mons Calpe finished the game with now Home Grown Players on the field of play having not utilised their final substitution to bring on a local player from the bench after Max Cottrell was brought off on the 88th minute.
